Teeth Whitening

The Key to a Radiant Smile

Your smile is the first impression you give to others. We ensure that this impression is beautiful, radiant, and healthy.

Teeth whitening is an entirely safe procedure when scientific guidelines are followed. With the most modern methods we apply, we achieve the white smile you desire.

Methods of Teeth Whitening:

1. Laser Whitening

Laser whitening is an advanced aesthetic procedure where the special whitening gel is immediately activated by the laser light beam and penetrates the enamel of the teeth.
  • It is an effective, painless, and safe technique.
  • The whitening gel is applied to the outer surface of the teeth (typically 6-8 teeth per dental arch, depending on the smile) and activated with laser light.
  • The aesthetic results are immediate after the treatment is completed.
  • The change in shade varies due to the different intensity and type of discoloration as well as the characteristics of each tooth.
  • It is done in a single visit, with the average duration of the whitening treatment ranging from 30 to 45 minutes.
  • It is particularly suitable for smokers or individuals with particularly dark teeth.
  • It is contraindicated for pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers.
  • It is the most modern and precise method of teeth whitening.

2. At-Home Whitening

  • Uses carbamide peroxide 10% – 35% or hydrogen peroxide 6% – 9.5%
  • It is a simple and safe technique
  • The whitening agent is applied using custom trays that fit your teeth during the night
  • The patient is periodically examined by the dentist to monitor the change in tooth shade
All whitening methods are effective, each with specific advantages and very few or no disadvantages. The key is that regardless of the method used, the result will last for many years if the patient follows some basic principles.
The most important of all is brushing the teeth. This should be done with a medium toothbrush, which should be in good condition, meaning it should be replaced frequently or when the bristles show wear. Electric toothbrushes give even better results.
Another important parameter for maintaining whitening is gum health. The use of a mild mouthwash is recommended to keep the gums free from inflammation and gingivitis.
Toothpaste also plays a significant role. We prefer pharmaceutical toothpastes as they are more specialized and of better quality.
Finally, limiting smoking helps maintain whitening, while coffee and red wine have been shown not to affect the result as long as the above practices are followed!

Give your smile the radiance it deserves!
